Prof. Kamal Okuda, a Japanese Muslim scholar and a great educator. Prof. Atsushi Kamal Okuda was born in 1960, and now he is Professor of the Faculty of Policy Management, Islam and Global Governance Research Project at Graduate School of Media and Governance at Keio University, Specializes in Islamic law and related fields, and Arabic Language. He is also a director of Laboratory of Islamic Studies at Keio Research Institute at SFC. Prof. Okuda traveled to Aleppo-Syria, and there he met some of the Islamic scholars and studied al-Tawhid and al-Sharia, on his hands. His famous words "it is true that we have in Japan good manners, but they're not complete, and I found in Islam what complete them". Today, Professor Kamal Okuda works hardly with his colleagues and disciples in Japan to spread Islam there, and to save their society. May Allah grant them his blessing and reward them good.

Daee Shaikh Kyoichiro Sugimoto, I am Japanese Muslim reverted to Islam in 1997 by the grace of Almighty Allah. After acquiring master degree in global studies from Kobe University, I studied Islamic education in International Islamic University Malaysia for 3 years. In 2014, I decided to translate Dr. Zakir Naik’s speeches and writings into Japanese language for Dawah purpose, after 15 months, finally published the book titled as “Introduction to Islam and Comparative Religion” by Kokusho Kankokai, Inc., one of the famous publishers in Japan. The book ranked No1 on religious book category of Amazon.co.jp. on 2nd December 2015. On January 2016, I was selected among hundreds of applicants as one of the 20 participants of International Da’wah Training Program which was developed and conducted by Dr. Zakir Naik himself in Mumbai. Currently I am full time da’ee in Japan and President of Islamic Research Foundation International, Japan (IRFI) and Halal Auditor, Nippon Asia Halal Association (NAHA) I completed Hajj on 2000 and 2015.

Dr. Zaharudin Muhammad, Ustaz zaharudin is Head of Shariah, Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad and Shariah Advisor of Alliance Islamic Bank in Malaysia since 1st April 2009. He obtained his Masters on Islamic Economy and Jurisprudence from the University of Cairo, Egypt (excellent, graduated in top 10). He has also obtained a Bachelors in Islamic Jurisprudence from the Al-Azhar University Cairo, graduating 1st amongst all foreign students. Furthermore, he has written several books and articles related to his specialized field of Islamic Jurisprudence. He has since published five more field-related books. He also is a former Shariah Advisor : HSBC Amanah Takaful, Prudential Takaful, Head of Takaful Department at International Shariah Research Academy In Islamic Finance (ISRA - National Bank of Malaysia) and Shariah Specialist of Iffin Planners Sdn Bhd since 2003.

Dr. Ahmed Almansur, was born in Syria in 1964. He got his higher education Japan and worked at Hiroshima University and Tokyo University. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering, University of Aleppo, Syria and Vice-President of Japan Center for Academic Cooperation, University of Aleppo, Syria. Presently, a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Policy Management, Keio University, Japan.

Sister Miwa Essaadi, Born and raised in Japan until the age of 22 yrs and reverted to Islam in 1999 during my 7 years of stay in the U.S. for acquiring a master degree in Public Administration from Portland State University. I learned the beauty of Islam and the importance of Ummah from the diversity and the welcoming muslim community of Portland Oregon. Since my return to Japan in 2006, I have started a journey to search for a suitable way to live as a muslim in this non-muslim society. I made it my mission to educate public services, businesses, schools and individuals about Islam and our lives in Japan. My goal as a Japanese muslim is to bridge the differences between Muslims and our local community in Shizuoka. Our flagship project is to establish Shizuoka Masjid / Islamic Cultural Center, insha Allah. Co-founder & Vice President of Shizuoka Muslim Association since 2010. Executive Director of Islamic Seminars & Advising Services, I.Solutions since 2013. Shizuoka Prefectural Registered Adviser for Muslim-Tourism.
